“Selamat Datang ke Malaysia!”
I still remember the day I first set foot on your land, Malaysia. It was on the 24th of February about 7 years ago and I stayed in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah for one day en route to Brunei Darussalam. I liked your country the first time I saw it and in the past 7 years, I was a frequent visitor to your land.
This year marks your 58th Independence Day and I would like to showcase photos which would always remind me of your country.

a. Malaysia has given the world an airline that truly commits to its goal in making it possible for everyone to fly. I have flown Air Asia many times heading to Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Srilanka, Brunei, Vietnam. Thank you for bringing me to my destinations safely and thank you for the affordable flights.

….and thank you for having my favorite Nasi Lemak style on board!

b. Malaysia makes travelling from the main airport to other parts of the city easy and convenient to the tourists who come to your country.

c. There are many shopping malls in my country but it is also a delight to roam around inside your malls.

d. Coffee shops in Malaysia abound everywhere. I just love the coffee culture in your country!

e. And for those people who love to read a book while having enjoying a cup of luscious coffee, Kinokuniya offers you both!

f. Malaysia has also taught me to open up myself to conquer my fear of heights. I won’t forget my first cable car ride!
g. While I was around 19 years old, I used to buy this brand of chocolates because they were so tasty and rich. All along I thought that this product was from Europe. It was only when I visited Malaysia that I found out that the chocolates are actually being produced in Asia. Beryls!
h. …And who will forget to drop by the Petronas Twin Towers?!
i. What I love most about Malaysia is that it is coming from Brunei. We can go to Miri by car or by public bus. We can go to Labuan by ferry. We can go to Kota Kinabalu by car, by public bus or plane.

These are just some of the many reasons why I like going to Malaysia! Many times I was welcomed by this country and in turn, I embraced the happy times I spent here.
