Selamat Datang Ke Malaysia!

“Selamat Datang ke Malaysia!”

I still remember the day I first set foot on your land, Malaysia. It was on the 24th of February about 7 years ago and I stayed in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah for one day en route to Brunei Darussalam. I liked your country the first time I saw it and in the past 7 years,  I was a frequent visitor to your land.

This year marks your 58th Independence Day and I would like to showcase photos which would always remind me of  your country.

Let's Celebrate 58th Independence Day!

a. Malaysia has given the world an airline that truly commits to its goal in making it possible for  everyone to fly. I have flown Air Asia many times heading to Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Srilanka, Brunei, Vietnam. Thank you for bringing me to my destinations safely and thank you for the affordable flights.

g. While I was around 19 years old, I used to buy this brand of chocolates because they were so tasty and rich. All along I thought that this product was from Europe. It was only when I visited Malaysia that I found out that the chocolates are actually being produced in Asia. Beryls!

i. What I love most about Malaysia is that it is  coming from Brunei. We can go to Miri by car or by public bus. We can go to Labuan by ferry. We can go to Kota Kinabalu by car, by public bus or plane.

These are just some of the many reasons why I like going to Malaysia!  Many times I was welcomed by this country and in turn, I embraced the happy times I spent here.
